An explicit boolean overrides the external-product choice for this request. When omitted or null, body routines use the actual scan vendor's saved scan-settings categories.products.allow_external_body_products preference (default false). Face routines and scans without a vendor continue to default to false. When false, the routine generator will ONLY recommend products from inventory search results. Categories with no matching inventory products will be omitted entirely. When true, the generator may suggest real, well-known products outside the vendor’s catalogue for categories with no matching inventory products, including a missing body moisturizer. Body suggestions must exactly match name and brand in the supplied verified candidate list from published products at other approved stores; unverified model suggestions are omitted. External suggestions have a null product_id and may display the matched catalogue photo in product_image. They are identified in the usage explanation; they are not products sold by this vendor. This flag does not bypass ingredient safety checks. Body acids are not removed solely because a moisturizer is absent; a gentle care note is shown instead.
