Available to authenticated mobile, widget and dashboard callers. Checks the expected body
area, exposed skin, sharpness, lighting and distance, without generating a scan,
allocating a payment, consuming scan credits, or retaining the uploaded photos.
Call once per captured body part and require every part to pass before checkout
or analysis. Keep the user on photo review on any failure; show issues and offer
retake for 422, or retry for 503. Never interpret an unavailable check as success.
Each rejection includes a photo label, the specific problem and practical retake
guidance. Chest framing/coverage errors explicitly say to keep a bra or top on.
A completed quality check returns every rejected photo in the submitted body part,
combining unreadable-image, sharpness and model rejections in issues. If checking
the remaining photos is unavailable, retry the 503 response before proceeding.
Passing checks are cached for 30 minutes against the image bytes, body part,
region, prompt version, quality model and focus threshold. Retakes are rechecked.
The full analyzer retains its final quality gate; this check is not a guarantee
that every later analysis will succeed. Limited to 30 requests per minute per authenticated caller and IP address.

A photo of a different body area is assessed, not refused. When a photo is
usable but shows another area of bare body skin than body_part (a neck in the Back
slot), it passes, and images[].body_part names the area it will be assessed as:
another guided part, one of the detect-only parts neck, arms, legs, abdomen
(shown as "Stomach"), or uncategorized (shown as "Other area") when the area could
not be told. Show the customer that note before checkout; the scan result repeats
it as body_scans[].capture_note. A photo of a face is still refused with a
sentence pointing at the face scan, and so is anything that is not bare skin.

Other area. body_part: uncategorized with one body_area close-up checks a
patch the customer framed themselves. Any bare body skin below the face passes the
area check; the photo is refused only for a face, no bare skin, or quality. When the
check can name the area, images[].body_part names it (arms, back, …) and the
photo is assessed as that part with no capture_note; otherwise it stays
uncategorized.
